In previous weeks we’ve looked at the volunteer motivations of altruism, ideology, life changes, social life and here’s another motivation to consider.
It’s based on INCENTIVES AND REWARDS.
Some people are motivated by incentives and rewards. The rewards might be tangible, such as free gifts, discounts or tax deductions. Intangible rewards include self-development, learning of new skills or the possibility of being able to mix with influential people to advance and build their careers. You can attract these people by offering a variety of these incentives.
Now remember do not judge motivations but find ways to attract people to volunteering based on these motivations.
