More on Volunteer Management and Volunteer Recognition…

Here is a follow-up idea on Volunteer Recognition for you to consider using in your volunteer management role.

Last time I spoke about using Quotes and Quote Magnets. But some people have asked me how to use quotes to ‘relate back’ to what you write in a card, whether for International Volunteer Day, Christmas, New Year, Birthdays or Just Saying Thanks.

LINKING QUOTE MAGNETS AND WORDS

This is what you do. Here’s one volunteer quote magnet that reads “Every person can make a difference and every person should try – John F. Kennedy”.

In the card you then link the quote magnet by writing – “I wanted to say thanks so much for being the one to make that difference”.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE FOR YOU

Here’s another quote magnet that reads – “Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves – James Barrie”.

In the card you then link the quote magnet by writing – “Thanks for bringing so much sunshine into the lives of our patients or clients”.

Now you get the idea! Go for it!
