		<description>Hi Suzi

Excellent point! In the volunteer motivation study this was identified as another separate but high level motivation. Often people used different words to describe the feeling of being needed. But a very, very powerful reason to volunteer.

Cheers

<description>Judy, I find that often my volunteers have a desire to be needed and volunteering fulfills that need.
